Are the devices brand new?
Yes. All devices are brand new, not refurbished or tampered with. They are the current model, not last year's model. They come with full manufacturer warranty and you will receive them factory sealed, exactly the same way you would get at a retail store.

Will you send me the smartphone?
No. Smartphones have to be activated and registered at the time of purchase. We will send you a check for the purchase price of the smartphone plus the applicable sales tax in your state.

Yes. CDs and DVDs can be combined. DVDs count like CDs. 1 DVD = 1 CD.
What if I am a dozen CDs short of what I need?
You can make up for missing items by paying $1 per item up to a maximum of 50 items. In other words, if you are 15 items short, of what you want, you can make up those missing items by enclosing a check made out to "iPodMeister" for $15.
I have more CDs than required. Can I get several devices?
Yes. If you have more CDs than required you can either get several devices or you can get a combination of device(s) and cash.
What if you don't accept several of my CDs?
We will notify you by e-mail or phone in case several of your CDs are scratched or otherwise not acceptable. We will then ask you to make up for each unacceptable item by paying $1 per item. We do not return unacceptable items.
How do I pack my CDs?
The most important thing is to pack the CDs tightly. The CDs should not be able to move inside the box. ONLY add bubble wrap or newspapers if needed.
Will you provide me with boxes?
No. Any solid cardboard box will do. You can get them at Home Depot, Office Depot, Staples, Lowe's, storage places, UPS and FedEx stores, etc. We prefer you to use boxes that hold approximately 200-250 CDs.
What is the turn around time for digitizing?
The turn around is usually 3-8 business days from the time we receive our CDs.
How did you come up with the idea for iPodMeister?
We tried to sell our CDs to a used CD-store. We had to pay for three cab rides to transport several heavy bags with CDs from store to store. The clerks looked with disgust at our CD collection and offered a pittance for the few titles they picked out. It was a very humiliating experience – and a complete waste of time!
How do box sets count?
Boxsets count by the number of discs in the set. A boxset that contains four discs count will be considered as four individual discs, not one.
I put my discs in album binders. Will you accept them?

No. We do not accept CDs in album binders, even if you kept all cover art. We only accept CDs that have both front and back cover art and that are in their original jewel cases (even if the cases are cracked or dirty).
I have initials/markings on the case/artwork/disc, will you accept them?
Yes, only if the markings are only on the case. We do not accept any discs that have any markings on the artwork or the disc itself.

Some of my cases are broken or dirty, can I send you these items?
Yes, broken or dusty cases are not a problem as long as disc is enclosed in its original case.

Do you accept CDs bought through music clubs?
Yes, we accept CDs that have been acquired through music clubs such as Columbia House and BMG. These CDs count half because many people believe that these CDs are manufactured in an inferior way. 1 BMG/Columbia House CD = 0.5 regular CD. You can identify music club CDs by the name of the club near the bar code on the back of the jewel case. Club CDs often have a smaller bar code.
